This notice is interim
We are publishing this short notice now, ahead of a full privacy policy and terms that our lawyers are reviewing. It describes how the site works today and may change when that review is finished. The date at the top shows when it took effect.
Who we are
Soder Capital, LLC operates sodercapital.com. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Soder Capital, LLC and its affiliates.
What the site collects today
- Nothing you type. The contact form is off, and the site has no accounts, sign-ups or newsletters.
- No cookies. We do not set cookies, and the site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- No attachments or uploads.
- Standard server logs. Our website host, Vercel Inc., delivers the site and may keep logs for a short time for security and troubleshooting. These can include your network (IP) address, the pages requested, the time and your browser type. We do not use them to identify you.
If you contact us directly
You can reach us by email or through our LinkedIn profile, which this site links to. If you do, we receive what you send us, such as your name, email address and message. We use it to read and reply to you, to decide whether a conversation makes sense, and to keep a record of it. We keep it in our email system and may record it in our private contact-management system.
LinkedIn is a separate service with its own privacy policy. This notice does not cover it.
Please do not send bank or card numbers, government ID numbers, passwords, or confidential financial, employee, customer, tax or legal records. If a deeper review makes sense, we will arrange a private channel for that material.
Who sees it
- People at Soder Capital who handle inquiries.
- Our website host, Vercel Inc., for the logs described above.
- Our email provider and the private contact-management system where we file correspondence.
- Professional advisers (for example lawyers or accountants) only when needed to answer the matter you raised, and under confidentiality.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- We do not sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.
- There is no automatic reply and no automated decision. A person at Soder Capital reads what you send.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries you send by direct email or LinkedIn: kept for up to 10 years from when you send them, then deleted.
- Server logs at our website host: kept for a short time only.
- Deletion requests: you can ask us to delete your correspondence sooner, and we answer within 30 days.
Your choices and deletion requests
To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email zach@sodercapital.com. We reply within 30 days after confirming the request comes from you.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will.
If we switch the contact form on
Before the form accepts any message, we will publish an updated notice explaining what it collects, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.
